Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer killer in men, killing 93 men a day in the US. If breakthroughs are not made, it could kill over 120 men a day by 2035. However, research into prostate cancer continues to be underfunded. These men are someone’s father, grandfather, brother and son, which is why we must do better.

About PCR
Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) is the only prostate cancer charity that focuses on research and innovation, concentrating on developing novel and effective treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer.
This is where the Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) comes in. We focus on science, research and innovation, concentrating on developing novel and effective treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer. This is because whilst prostate cancer is treatable in the prostate, it become incurable and life-limiting when it spreads.
We may be small, but we are ambitious and determined. That’s why we are scaling up our research capacity and investing in innovative projects that are scientifically excellent. This year we announced an exciting almost $3 million investment into 7 new prostate cancer research projects, brining an important increase in prostate cancer research spending, and that’s just the start. Our sights are set high for the future, and we will not rest until we find better treatments for prostate cancer.
We believe that patients should be at the heart of everything we do. Only those affected by prostate cancer can truly understand the journey, and we want to use their expertise to create treatments that aren’t toxic, with debilitating side-effects and reduce a man’s quality of life.
We want to provide a better future for men and their families affected by prostate cancer, all of which wouldn’t be possible without the help of our amazing supporters, so thank you.
